The reports here do NOT line up with the tech available and presumably being used in the Switch 2. Less than a year is enough time for that purpose. TLDR: The primary purpose for this meeting would be to show off what the new system can do to encourage 3rd parties to port over past projects and include the Switch 2 in their current projects. However, best believe Nintendo’s 1st parties have had access to the Switch 2 specs for years (and probably played a big part in choosing certain aspects of the system performance such as Ram amount) and that’s where we will see the Switch 2 exclusive launch titles. That wouldn’t be enough time as you pointed out. However, if this meeting really did take place, the purpose would not be for developers to create a brand new Switch 2 exclusive ready for the systems launch. When it comes to NEW projects, this will also give them a target to shoot for. Developers do not need several years to enable them to port over existing projects and as someone who has worked on games projects, I can promise you, the amount of time Nintendo has given them is more than enough to get something ready by launch (it’s mainly a factor of optimization and then working in whatever new gimmick’s Nintendo has). This way we may be able to get some ports and multi-platform releases to help fill the launch lineup (for example: the rumor of FF7 remake running on Switch 2 hardware). The purpose is to give 3rd party developers a ballpark performance estimate of what the system can handle as a way to entice them to move their CURRENT & PAST projects into the Switch 2. The same could also be said of the rumors that certain 3rd parties just now got their hands on the PS5 pro dev kits when the system is expected to launch next year. I eventually found it, and they had big displays for SF6 (of course), Exoprimal with a really nice animatronic dinosaur, and a large Resident Evil section too. I walked around, basically just looking for the Capcom booth. And there is no reason to try to shoe-forn NFTs into games. One thing that caught my attention as soon as I walked in was a booth saying something like "NFTs here", which is crazy. If I had more time I would have checked out a lot more stuff, but I didn't want to get caught in the crush of people trying to leave at 6pm, so I wanted to leave a bit sooner. I took a few pictures on the way, but honestly this year there just wasn't much that I was excited to see. I basically entered, and then searched for the Capcom booth. The afternoon tickets let people in at 14:00, and you can see in one picture there is a big line of people waiting for their turn to enter. I had a full day ticket which meant I could enter at 10am, but I didn't make it there until 13:30. At the conbini I bought some bread and onigiri in case I got hungry in some line - and I knew that there would be a line somewhere - and headed out. Followers recruited from the level 2 or higher Lunarfall Inn / Frostwall Tavern once per week Followers awarded from quests or obtained some other way from the Warlords of Draenor content However, you can roughly divide followers into two "groups" based on the way how a follower is obtained: There are several ways to get more followers to join your ranks. The status of a follower can be changed from the Command Table in Town Hall: You won't meet them in your garrison grounds either. Inactive followers won't lose anything while being on the bench and once per day you can reactivate one of them for. It is worth mentioning that the deactivation only becomes available if you have more followers than your current limit allows. You can't dismiss followers so deactivating is the only way to reduce active followers. You need to reduce your number of active followers back to 20 ( 25) in order to send followers to missions again. This isn't something the Devs can fix-it has to be sorted between Unreal and Steam (and it doesn't seem either party is interested in fixing it.Writing this review hurt my feelings. This same issue impacts other games using the Unreal engine (I personally had a lot of issues with it with ARK, but there are several other games that if you google, you will find have the same complaint and use Unreal). This is an issue between Unreal and Steam, but unfortunately, the game Devs have to hear the complaints. It's kind of a known thing that games using the Unreal engine take longer to update, because of how Unreal packs the game, and Steam updates. If you check your drives, and they have space and are where you expect, with no extra drives listed, there IS another issue. Ideally, you want this to be a modern SSD or M2 drive, not an old mechanical drive as well (if that's all you have though, that's all you have.) The drive you use should have plenty of space in it-not "just enough" for the update, but extra space as well. If you have more than one drive listed, you may wish to remove the extras, as Steam could be using any (or all!) of them.
